I had the same thought, and I agree with MC that it’s easy to espouse collaboration in a new hire press conference. It’s harder when facing adversity.
The thing with Zimmer though, he would have gone to Kentucky and designed a defensive gameplan to get after the next opponent. Vibes are lovely, but we need to see that KOC has designed something to maximize what Dobbs can/can’t do.
Any idea on the amount of practice reps Jefferson has had with Dobbs since the Chicago debacle? It seems vital to get a good trend of connection between the two as we enter the Raiders gig.
Can you Imagine Zimmer sitting with Kirk for a few hours to pick each other`s minds.?
I couldn`t either!

While I agree, the modern NFL does revolve around the QB
Zimmer had certain blindspots, to be sure. It's also not a great idea to foist a qb on the HC.
Short term the Vikings have good offensive weapons. KOC and Dobbs should be able to figure something out that will work. Turnovers will kill any plan.
