Football is a small sample size game. Mahomes is 28 and has played 18 playoff games. The 1992 Bulls played 22 of them. The point is to win; Mahomes makes key plays when he has the opportunity. Good for him, but there is a limit to what can or should be drawn from scant evidence.

The 9ers have a great roster. They also looked fairly bad in two home playoff wins, and but for the Aiyuk helmet catch we're talking about the Lions right now--who themselves narrowly beat the Rams in a WC game at Ford Field.

It would be really nice to have something more concrete, but the only lesson is build a good enough roster to consistently help your QB look good and make the playoffs, then hope that one year it works out.

There is a podcast I hope it’s ok to mention that features Bomani Jones and Dominic Foxworth (entertaining) they refer to Pat Mahomes as Jorden. The 49ers were the best team in the NFC, the NFC is on a down cycle unfortunately. My opinion two of the teams the Chiefs beat in the playoffs, Bills or Ravens would have beat the 49ers.

Mahomes should be MVP, not Jackson. We are lucky to see a talent like him. It was a good game, the 49ers probably had better players except for one.
