Garrett is awesome but $40mm is a lot of money

Sam Bradford losing his knees (what is it with Minny QBs and knee problems?) was such a bummer. He looked so good when he did play

I thought we were going to the Super Bowl after that Bradford game against the Saints.

I think there was one amazing pass to Diggs where DIggs is behind a defender (but going in a different direction) such that when the ball was thrown Sam only had a minimal POV of Diggs... It was brilliant.

And then the knees....

The salary cap has not been fixed. Having a QB on a rookie K means having an extra $40-$60 MM to spend elsewhere, but that's not the result of skill anymore than extending JJ with a record-setting contract was. Those are no-brainer decisions that any GM (who doesn't work for Mike Brown) can and should make. KAM still keeps needlessly spending future years' cap dollars. It's his fourth offseason, this is who he is.

As for JJMC, he's in a great position to thrive. Nobody knows how well he'll do, but it's certainly time to find out.

Great analysis of the current state of affairs. KOC knows QB's so his decision on McCarthy should prove to be correct. I like the Jones deal but we need a Latavius Murray type for short yardage plays in the red zone. Free agency pickups should be interesting.
