But I have to believe the attitudes of the front office and coaching staff of the Vikings will be a very different experience than what Gannon dealt with back in the day. To say they are "nicer" maybe isn't the right word, but this group of Vikings leadership is just built different.
Rich Gannon is a great football mind. His appearances on the radio and in this article are interesting and insightful. I guess we won’t know what we have with Sam Darnold until we see him play. I think Sam is an interesting character and one of those football stories that I look forward to following. Scouts saw enough to have him drafted 3rd, he w has the size and speed, he knows he can make a bag full of money if he applies the lessons he’s learned. I haven’t paid much attention to him, i wish him nothing but the best.
