I so badly want them to take the XFL kickoff rule. Every time there is a kickoff now I hope they return it just for the excitement, But then a part of me also gets scared someone is going to get killed.
I enjoyed the discussion but am undecided about which way I would go. Listening and reading through brought another question to mind though. Could you take the time to go through the projected change in the onside kick to the 4th and 15 option. I have had a number of people tell the 4th and 15 is but the way they explained it made me wonder why anyone would suggest it. I know I must be missing something. Rather than get into the entire discussion that was had I thought I'd ask if you could take it on. I trust your vision of things most of the time and I also think it would be a good read. Thanks in advance for your consideration.
Interesting. I didn’t watch any XFL, but find this quite intriguing.
Bonus points for mentioning tecmo super bowl all star Mel Gray.
Damn, just goggled him. Seven all-pros and four pro-bowls. Someone get the man a gold jacket. Maybe borrow Warner's.

This will be in the Friday Mailbag. Thanks Curt!
I like the XFL kickoff but not thrilled about the new onside kick change I guess I'm to much old school. Great article.
Thanks Ron. Vikings fans will always have a place in their hearts for the onside kick after the 97 playoff game against the Giants
