I promise that if the Vikings have an international game in Tokyo I will personally help lead the takeover. (speaking to the suits in charge of the international planning at the NFL "guys, it is a lovely city and actually pretty modern (and the toilets are great!), give it a try!")
And I have started a facebook group in anticipation Minnesota Vikings Fan Club in Kanto Japan
>We got beers thrown at us, ice thrown out of coolers, little old ladies dropping F bombs,
(actually, there is an exception to that, for baseball games, never go into the cheering section of Osaka`s Hanshin Tigers with paraphernalia from another team. There WILL be violence. And the Hanshin cheering section is amazing because these people are constantly screaming at max decibels for the entire game. It is a mind blowing experience.
Matthew is a great guy. His interview felt like we were a couple buddies discussing their favorite team. We Vikings fans are lucky to have Matthew and Purple Insider! SKOL!
I lived in Washington state for five years during my Air Force career and then for another 25 years once I retired. In those 30 years, I attended Seahawk games whenever the Vikings came to town in both the old Kingdome and their current stadium. My experiences were mixed. Some games were good and the fans civil while in others I almost went to blows with drunk, rowdy Seahawk fans. With that said, no fans are worse than those disgusting animals in Philadelphia.
I’m happy for the people that can travel and support the Vikings. I love the view of the volcanos and mountains. I’m excited Matthew will be at the game. I’m happy he was able to continue his journey in sports journalism with us in Minnesota. Best wishes and Happy Holidays to all you Purple Insiders!

It has not been overwhelmed by support yet.
Stuff that WILL NOT HAPPEN in Japan

I was stationed in Okinawa a long time ago, took the family to Tokyo Disney (and other stuff)
What do my kids (at that time eight and six) remember about that trip?
“the space age toilets” 🤦♂️😂

Much appreciated, Tim!
I wanna go to Japan and see the toilets!!!
Depending on a lot of off the field factors, (hello job) if the Vikings have a playoff game in Tampa Bay, my wife and I are going.
