Suggestions for what we should call the next phase. 1 "the Kick Ass Offense" phase 2. The "JJ to JJ" phase. 3. The "Rebuilt" phase

We are in the "Dynasty Construction" phase. And then in two years it will be the "League Domination" phase that should last 30-40 years

Chicago had a QB who got traded for a 6th round pick, and got very lucky when the 2023 1-1 pick played like hot garbage. We had a QB who signed for $100 MM guaranteed. It was apples/oranges in terms of available options, and it helps KOC to have the credibility of those 20 wins on the board when navigating rough waters this year.

We now have a rookie QB and all of the variance and surplus value that entails. JJMC is in a great position to thrive, and as ever, we'll see what happens. The part that's a bit nuts, though, is the lack of other picks this year and next year (as well as the effin' void years and continued practice of kicking cap hits down the road). It's nice to have money to make a splash Hargrove or AJ Brown acquisition, but a team can't fill out its roster through UFA and trades/extensions. Teams need the cheap talent of day 2 picks on rookie contracts. Maybe Turner becomes Doleman 2.0 and the plan is to trade down twice next year and restock picks/the roster that way.

It could work, but aside from JJMC, KAM assumed a lot of unnecessary risk.
