Man oh man, Brady would be a dream. … I bet they ride with Hall for a couple of weeks, then turn it over to Mullens when/if he’s healthy if Hall proves he can’t operate at the level they’d like. To me, Mullens is only slightly below the Daltons and Winstons, so I’d rather not see them give up anything for a shot at having one of those types try to figure out the offense midseason in a desperate attempt to earn a wild card. … Lastly, too bad Teddy is in-division.
At this point it would be hard to start someone from the outside this weekend so it looks like Hall or Mannion. Sure do hope they choose Hall. I’d like to see how he handles the situation.
As a fan, the wait to find out what we are going to do feels like it is taking so long. On the flip side I'm sure that the Vikings feel like there is just not enough time to make the right decision.
This is one of those rare moments that can define what happens for a franchise, good or bad. In the end we will look back on this time in the season and either say the made the right choice or the wrong one. I'd rather they make the fun one, and coax Brady into one more season.
Personally I think they should stick with Hall. However, if they must bring in another QB the only one I’d consider is Mac Jones - unless the asking price was too high.
Can you and Ben pull out that crystal ball a little early?
Great article Matt. Couldn’t agree more with this breakdown. Will be very interesting to see this play out.
Nicely done Matthew. A great read. I just wonder how it is all going to work out.
We have until 1600 ET tomorrow to find out 😃

Trading Cleveland for a 6th round pick from a playoff team? I'll take "someone who won't make the 2024 roster for $2000, Alex".

I am very worried about what direction they choose lol
