Really surprised Jalen Redmond isn’t on the list. He is probably in my top 5. Guy rated 13 out of 219 for DI on PFF last year on 208 snaps and had at least a few handfuls of plays where he looked dominant. Was also a really high RAS guy for DT coming out of college if I’m looking at the right thing (9.68). LDR is a fun player, but Redmond is way more likely to make an impact based on what we’ve seen so far. If they can get a few more snaps out of Redmond at that same level of play it will be huge for that DL rotation.
Redmond has a chance, and someone is going to get the opportunity to come in fresh for rotational snaps and shine. Ideally none of the IDL top 650 snaps.
It's a great sign that most of the excitement/battles are for niche roles.
The biggest key remains health. There is no sign that JJMC has any lingering issues. Hopefully Darrisaw and Fries are ready to roll by at least mid-September. The 2009 team had a lot of older players and they stayed remarkably healthy (Winfield missed a half dozen games, EJ missed 4 and that was it for material absences). If that happens again this year. . .
Interesting top 5... And I think (in part because he did not participate in the May/June period and is an FA and not a draft pick) many Vikings fans have forgotten Moore`s existence. If there is a place to revive as a WR, the Vikings are a top location.
One bit of context re: Rodgers--the Iggles hit it out of the park with their two rookie CBs. If only one of them had hit, Rodgers would have played a lot more.
This isn't to say Rodgers = Q. Mitchell. But, to get Rodgers's age 27 and 28 seasons for $11 total is certainly a good bet.
I think the Vikings have pretty good backup players at every position including QB. The defense may bail JJ out in the early season games. Ten wins is doable no matter what.

I wonder if Moore will be ready to go week 1. I kind of feel like he sticks around on PUP or IR to start the year. Hard to believe he’s only 24
