I disagree with the conclusion--the fact that something has been a certain way for a long time does not mean it will always stay that way. The United States of America is not still ruled by the king of England. Football players are not longer "toughed up" by being denied water at practice. It's not just ok to demand change, it's valuable to do so.

At both TC Performance Center and Halas Hall, this was the offseason to decide who is going to mold the incoming 1st round QB. If ownerships aren't prepared to let these staffs do that job, they should have been replaced in January. Absent scandal or criminality, nothing KOC does this year should have any impact on his job security. JJMC is going to make $22 MM over the next four years, which is surplus value of at least $140 MM. It's pennywise and pound foolish to worry about having to pay an extra year of extension for KOC.

However, down at Halas Hall, the best thing they could do for the Vikings is fire everyone after this season and force Williams to start over next year.
