The amount of general self-centeredness and complete and utter lack of empathy in this world is troubling. If you want the best JJ, you've got to let the man heal. It's not rocket science.

I'm a football "dad." I have a son that plays for an college FCS team as a defensive end. After his Jr High School year, to get recruited, it was important to go to college "prospect" camps where the players are tested in measureables like the 40 and 5-10-5 shuttle. About 3 weeks before the first "mega camp" with 50 college scouts in attendance, my son tore his hamstring. He did aggressive physical therapy and was able to compete, but not at 100 percent. He didn't fully recover for 8 weeks. The point is THE ONLY WAY to fully heal a hamstring is time and rest. JJ is doing the right thing by sitting out.
