Once again, Kendricks restructures his contract for the good of the team. Perhaps other high end teammates should take note of his selflessness. I hope Kubiak rotates Mattison in more often to lessen the impending injury stat monster who is eyeing Cook...
This isn't selfless, it's an accounting exercise. He's not taking less money, as, e.g., Reiff did.
I also gently note that a salary cap is not some immutable mechanism. It's a device the owners created to justify paying players less. There is nothing "selfish" about players (those who actually put the product on the field which generates billions) maximizing their earnings during their very short earning windows.
Understood... it’s nice to see some players who are making money most of us mere working slugs will never see, making monetary decisions that benefit the team’s goal of winning...
Coller you are on a roll: this is the second online argument you won for me. One week ago I was arguing with some DANG FOOLS, and I kept saying that there was no way that Cook was taking less money than Henry, as you always said. Well, here we are, and Cook slotted in just ahead of Henry like a perfect domino. Well done, good sir. Your NFL insider-dom is doing WONDERS at helping at helping my stock.

Kendricks steps up again. TEAM player!
Matthew, please educate me more... restructuring means the player doesn’t lose money, the payments are just stretched out, correct?

Haha... hey, the Vikings make sure guys are taken care of so I bet on that
So looks like he can be moved after 2022? Is there a huge penalty if moved before that?
Not sure until we get his full contract on OverTheCap but my guess is that it won't be a huge penalty after 2022
