I can't wait for your film study of yesterday's performance. Great receivers make great QB's. Randle Cunningham could run and also find the open receivers to pass to downfield. Culpepper could do the same, but Darnold is a GREAT PASSER who can also use his legs to avoid the rush and find open targets downfield.
He had 6 incompletions. 1 bubble screen batted by a DL, 1 pressure he waffled to an uncovered side of JA but uncatchable. I think it was mostly a throwaway. 2 throws his arm was hit. One purposeful throwaway over a double-covered JA. The last one was too high for Hock in the endzone. That throw is the only one of of the 6 that I think could (should?) have been a better throw. So many of the others were pinpoint. He was on fire. 2 other balls hit the ground, a screen was dropped but there was a penalty and the long pass that JA would have caught if Hughes didn't drag him down, flag thrown.
Yep. The throw was a dot on the run. His escape from a free running safety was elite. He's not easy to bring down, keeps his eyes up and he bursts away from DL. That play encompassed it all.

That 52 yard play was sick. Nothing else can really be said but.... "Wow"
