I would add Jalen Redmond as well.

Really do hope we tag and trade Darnold. Not that I have nothing but respect for him (he seems like a great guy as wel).... Just lets use the rookies cheap contract!

The biggest avoidable* mistake KAM made was kicking so much dead cap onto 2024. 2023 was the transition year, it would have been much better to take the cap medicine and then start 2024 being able to pay-as-you-go. Instead, 2023 created a series of waves that we're still feeling. The 2024 UFA class was outstanding, but those Ks were all back-loaded because of the 2023 offseason approach. One can say who cares, you can always borrow from future cap years, but wasting future cap dollars has mounting consequences: ask a Nola fan when they last had a roster that's actually good.

The key thing with the schedule is that the Norris teams have 13 common opponents. No-one should expect 15 wins *or* 14 wins next year--much less both--but that's ok. If 12 wins gets the division and a 2 or 3 seed, that's more than enough to be in contention.

*everyone makes terrible draft selections; his approach to trading picks is a problem that's much more avoidable.
