I appreciate the fact that he’s careful and analytical in his approach with the ball, but sometimes you gotta throw the ball and trust your receivers to make a play....see Keenum 2017, Cousins last year v Buffalo.
I enjoyed this. Cousins has certain genetic gifts allowing him to be so effin’ durable. Joe Greene and Merlin Olsen played under 280. Outstanding Minnesotan Alan Page played under 250. The pass rushers today, gracious, the combination of mass and speed is ridiculous.
But, Cousins isn’t athletic in the way Mahomes, Elway, Fran, Daunte or even Mister Ponder were. That’s ok, guys like Marino, Warner and Brady had their forties timed with a sundial. But, it requires compensation in other areas. I don’t like Cousins, but I respect how good he is and that he squeezes every drop of juice he can.
“fourth-and-8 in the playoffs to Hockenson, which Cousins argued was the right decision”
😩🤦♂️
He’s very analytical in his approach, almost robotic. Kirk needs a bit of t he “F-it” magic in his thought process.

Keenum threw a pick six up 7-0 in Philly.
I remember, so does Pepperidge Farms
