I enjoyed this article and learning about a player I really want to see succeed. Obviously to be good at anything you have to believe in yourself. However, the art of networking and taking advantage of your mentors means a lot. Props to his defensive coach at Air Force for believing in him and trying to open doors. That can make a difference in any persons vocation- it’s universal.

These underdog stories are always so cool to read. I’m sure interviewing Richter and writing the article was cool as well. Thanks for sharing it.
