Galaxy brain move by Joseph to miss the PAT and force a cowardly FG attempt instead of picking up the 4th down and scoring a walkoff TD like they would have with a 4 point deficit
Nice recap. Left out the part about their DL (or scheme) dominating our OL in many important moments. We lost the battle in the trenches both ways for the most part.
O'Neill had a rough day. Maybe travel played a part, but that was disappointing. The interior is what it is. It's hard for rookie OL to thrive, but the serial rapist gets beaten a lot.
Hunter has one QB hit through 4 games. That's alarming. Donatell is sure his scheme is perfect and execution is the problem, but it seems as if having Hunter play out of a 2 point stance a lot, and dropping into coverage, is fixing something that wasn't broken.
The Ws are the goal, and are important, but that's not the only thing that matters. KOC has made a number of troubling decisions. The drops are on the players and today could have been a blowout. However, kicking 56 yard FGs, not using time outs, and long stretches each game where the offence stops working are all concerning.
Thanks to schedule luck (9 home games, 7 road ones, and facing half-strength Packers and Saints) this team may win 11 or 12, but that doesn't mean it's actually better than any of the other squads since '17. KOC has time to learn and improve; he needs to show signs of doing so.
It really is more than a little alarming how Donatell's scheme seems to prioritize no pass rush AND enormous cushions for receivers. The marching up and down the field is a predictable result. KOC needs to have another sitdown with Bud, who'd bring in a fifth D-lineman (Lurtsema) when the other team needed to move the ball at game's end (and rarely succeeded).
I know that an ugly win is still a win, but did it really have to be that ugly?

Death by Double Doink… take the kicker to The Tower!!!!!

Thanks Matt. Worst 3-1 team in the league. This team enjoys taking years off our lives especially the last 2 weeks.
The Giants would like a word
